Colour and Essential Oils

Essential oils carry the energy and spiritual properties of the flower or plant from which they are derived. Each essential oil corresponds to a different colour and carries the vibrational energy of that colour. Essential oils remove negativity and work on all levels; spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.
Colour Therapists may use essential oils within massage as another way of applying colour to the body. They may also use essential oil diffusers to disperse the colour vibration within their practice room.
The following essential oils correspond to each of the following colours:
RED - cedarwood, rose, geranium, black pepper, red cinammon, clover
ORANGE - mandarin, juniper, clary sage, ylang ylang, jasmine, calendula, neroli
YELLOW - lemon grass, basil, bergamot, grapefruit, camphor, lemongrass
GREEN - geranium, rose, douglas fir, eucalyptus
SKY BLUE - roman chamomile, german chamomile, marjoram
INDIGO - lavender, sandlewood, marigold
VIOLET - frankinsense, myrh, white spruce, viola
PINK - rose otto, rose absoloute
Base oils such as almond oil, grapeseed, olive or coconut oil can be energised with colour using a coloured gel filter (also used for energising water). The appropriate gel filter is placed around a clear bottle of oil and energised with natural day light for a few hours. The oil will then have been solarised with the vibrational energy of the coloured filter. Coloured filters can be purchased from our online shop.
