A step by step process, beginning by stepping outside into nature to listen and observe

One of the first practical exercises students will experience on the course is one June created many moons ago yet is sustained by its popularity and still in use today, in pairs,one person with eyes closed is led by the arm as they listen to the sounds of nature, their partner describes all that they see and encourages their partner to feel what is being described, flowers, trees, bushes and  gently guides their hands forward enabling them to feel, it is with eyes closed that every sound is magnified, the bird song becomes more alluring and more vibrant and every flower and leaf feeling soft and engaging,  the perfume of the flowers, bushes and leaves all magnified heightening our senses deliciously by drawing us in to focus and to heighten the experience opening eyes after a time to drink in the colours, following the monochrome experience, the colour burst is a very special moment that June believes many have lost today, especially children spending quality time outdoors and engaging with natures bounty of colours to support their health and wellbeing.
